Audi recently unveiled the new Audi A1 at the Geneva Motor Show. The A1 is a small hatchback and will be the new entry level Audi. The cars main competition will be the Mini, so Audi have made sure the A1 is Über refined and will also be offering a number of variants in the near future. The 2 main future variations will be the A1 S series, and an e-Tron version of the car (more on that at a later date). The A1 is currently available with either a 1.2TFSI petrol engine, 1.4 TFSI petrol engine, or a 1.6 TDI diesel, these engines produce a 0-100 kmph time of approx 11.9 seconds, 9 seconds, and 10.6 seconds respectably. Orders for the A1 open up in May, and first cars should be with customers in Europe by November (SA early next year TBC).
